All fears the word cancer. However, most cancers can be beaten, if you catch it soon enough, even if there are new treatments coming out by the minute everyday that will help you fight and successfully beat cancer. However, there are some cancers that are more complex in nature than others, brain cancer is one that we're talking, and one we will focus on.
Two types of brain cancer are known, namely: primary brain cancer (these usually start in the brain), primary brain cancer almost never goes to any other part of the body, so death is brought on by uncontrolled growth of tumors in the brain cavity. Then you get a metastatic brain cancer, or otherwise known as secondary brain cancer (this type of cancer originating in other parts of the body and get shipped, or should we say that migrates to the brain caused by the particular circumstances of secondary brain cancer.
Causes of brain cancer
Brain tumors can occur at any age. Studies have shown that the two main age group affected. From ages 3 to 12 and 40-70 are the age groups, when a brain tumor is formed. Because the researchers were able to collect data, this led to the discovery of some risk factors. Workers in certain industries are at higher risk for brain cancer than workers in other industries. This includes, rubber manufacturing, drug manufacturing and oil refining. From a brain tumor often occurs with members of the same family, heredity is believed to be another cause of brain cancer.
